Via3L Spedition OÜ won in court against firm’s former managers

COBALT represented the logistics company Via3L Spedition and its majority shareholder against their former managers Elmer Maas and Lauri Latt.

We represented Via3L Spedition and its majority shareholder in criminal and civil legal matters regarding the joint and coordinated action of the company’s former managers against the property and business interests of Via3L Spedition in early 2018. Consequently, Via3L Spedition’s business operations, including employees and customers, were transferred to the competing company Nordic Spedition OÜ. As a result of the criminal trial, former managers Elmer Maas and Lauri Latt were found guilty of breach of trust.

Our work included conducting an internal investigation, determining the circumstances, collecting evidence and materials for a successful court proceeding. The client was represented by Managing Associate Lembit Tedder.
