Roche advances its European presence with new Riga office for Services and Solutions

Roche, one of the world’s largest biotechnology companies, has strengthened its Latvian presence by opening a satellite office for Roche Services & Solutions (RSS) EMEA at the Verde complex in Riga. This move signals the company’s commitment to continued investment in Latvia.

The office shall employ skilled individuals in emerging areas such as Digital Marketing, Regulatory Capabilities, Agile Coaching, and Project Management, alongside Finance. The goal is to expand operations to exceed 200 employees within a four to five-year period.

COBALT team including Partners Indriķis Liepa, Dace Silava-Tomsone, Specialist Counsel Kristīne Patmalniece, Senior Associate Ivo Maskalāns and Associate Krista Helmute, facilitated this expansion by advising on all agreements related to establishing the business operations in Latvia.
