Poultry producer Putnu fabrika Ķekava completes its reorganisation and rebrands as Ķekava Foods

Following the completion of the reorganisation process at AS Putnu fabrika Ķekava, SIA Lielzeltiņi (operating under the brand Bauska), SIA Broileks, and SIA Cerova have been merged into one company, now known as AS Ķekava Foods. The reorganisation has retained all existing product brands. The principal aim of restructuring is to enhance efficiency and strengthen competitive positioning in international markets.

The new company maintains a stable workforce exceeding 1,000 individuals and manufactures in excess of 600 units of poultry meat products. The Scandinavian countries are the principal export market for AS Putnu fabrika Ķekava, although the company’s products are exported across a total of 24 countries.

AS Ķekava Foods forms part of the AB Akola group, which adopted its new name in December 2023, previously known as Linas Agro Group. The companies AS Putnu fabrika Ķekava, SIA Lielzeltiņi, SIA Broileks, and SIA Cerova were acquired by the Linas Agro Group in 2013.
