Meditec AB and MediCloud joins Everfield to accelerate healthcare software innovation

Leading Latvian healthcare software companies, Meditec AB SIA, developer of the “Ārsta Birojs” healthcare information system and Medicloud SIA, owner of the “eVeselībasPunkts.lv” e-health patient portal, have been acquired by the Everfield fund. This strategic move strengthens Everfield’s commitment to advancing healthcare technology and empowers both Latvian powerhouses to further enhance their offerings, expand their reach, and drive innovation in the Latvian healthcare IT market. 

Meditec group was established by the reputable IT entrepreneurs Mārtiņš Sils and Māris Zvirgzdiņš more than 25 years ago. Meditec AB and Medicloud have ensured development and provision of services of IT systems “Ārsta birojs” and  “eVeselībasPunkts.lv” to medical institutions, professionals and patients, enabling them to use advancements of modern technologies.
