Lidl sells Riga property in leaseback transaction

Lidl Latvija SIA has finalized the sale of its newly-built property located at Lapsu street 6 in Riga to VK 47 SIA for 8.315 million euros.  Under the terms of the agreement, Lidl will remain in the building as a long-term tenant. The transaction is a part of Lidl strategy to optimize financing of long-term investments and focus on further expansion. 

This transaction represents one of the largest real estate deals in Latvia so far in 2025, considering both the property’s size and value. The total area of the real estate is 8,577 square meters, including a 2,652 square meter building.
