Eleport and Moki Veži to install 38 fast charging stations across Lithuania

Moki Veži, construction materials and household goods retail chain, and Eleport, electric vehicle charging infrastructure developer, have agreed to install 38 fast charging stations in the parking lots of Moki Veži stores in 2024.
Fast charging stations will be installed at Moki Veži locations in Panevėžys, Marijampolė district, Utena, Alytus, Kaunas and Kaunas district, Vilnius, Visaginas, Mažeikiai, Kėdainiai, Šiauliai, and Klaipėda.
Eleport will be responsible for all design work and maintenance of the installed stations. It is expected that the EV charging infrastructure works next to Moki Veži chain stores will be completed this year.
According to Moki Veži representative Tomas Lenkšas, such infrastructure development reflects the general trend in the changing needs of society, with customers looking not only for good prices, but also business sustainability.
Eleport, founded in Estonia in 2016, is one of the largest and fastest growing electric vehicles charging infrastructure and related software development companies in the Baltic States and Poland. Eleport offers charging services only from renewable, EU-certified sources.
Lithuanian company UAB MAKVEŽA, which runs the DYI retail chain Moki Veži selling construction, DIY materials and gardening goods, has been operating in Lithuania since 2000. With 24 physical stores and an online store, the retail chain has more than 750 employees.
