E.R.B. Rail JV signs contract for the construction of Rail Baltica mainline in Latvia

The consortium E.R.B. Rail JV PS formed by Eiffage Génie Civil SAS (France), Budimex S.A. (Poland) and Rizzani de Eccher S.p.A (Italy) has entered agreement with SIA Eiropas Dzelzceļa līnijas for construction of Rail Baltica mainline in the territory of Latvia. The value of the FIDIC framework contract awarded in the public procurement procedure is EUR 3.7 billion.

The construction works for the Rail Baltica mainline will involve railway substructures, embankments, road crossings, and railway superstructures, including track and other related infrastructure, over approximately 230 km.
