COBALT successfully represents Central Election Commission of Latvia in The Administrative District Court regarding cancelation of 2019 European Parliament (EP) election results

The Administrative District Court has dismissed the applications of political party alliance “Latviešu Nacionālisti”, EP deputy candidate Andris Rubins and political party “Jaunā Saskaņa” with regards the cancelation of 2019 EP election results.

Despite identified problems in the organizational process, the court concluded that Central Election Commission of Latvia has been acting in compliance with applicable Laws and there is no legal ground for cancelation of 2019 EP election results. The Administrative District Court’s rulings are final and cannot be appealed.
