COBALT represented AS Toode, an Estonian roof manufacturer, in an acquisition of a Finnish company, JanLa Oy

On 24 April 2012, the Estonian steel roof whole-solutions provider, AS Toode, and the Finnish company, JanLa Oy, concluded a share sale and purchase agreement whereby AS Toode acquired a 100% shareholding in JanLa Oy. JanLa is a Finnish “gazelle” company – a very rapidly developing manufacturer of steel roofs and accessories with a turnover in 2011 close to EUR 8 million.

The merging of JanLa’s and Toode’s operations creates one of the largest steel roof manufacturing and mounting companies in the Baltic and Nordic countries. COBALT Estonia advised and represented AS Toode in all legal aspects related to the transaction. The COBALT team consisted of partner Martin Simovart and legal councel Jesse Kivisaari.
