COBALT assisted on USD 30 million investment in robotic services provider Aerones

COBALT conducted legal due diligence of Aerones Latvian companies in relation to investment round, representing Lightrock, a global growth equity investor, and Haniel, a family-run growth equity investor in Europe.

Aerones is the world leading robotic wind-turbine maintenance services provider. The Latvia based company already serves customers that represent 50% of the world’s wind power capacity.

Aerones innovations are reducing costs and inefficiencies in the global wind power industry.

The raised 30M USD capital will be used to grow Aerones technical and sales functions, increase the number of robot service teams, and expand into new fast-growing markets, including Africa and Australia.
