COBALT advises “TABA Invest” owned by T. Barštys and his son on the development of a new project in Kaunas. SBA Group real estate developer “SBA Urban” and the investment company “TABA Invest” intend to establish a joint venture and jointly develop an additional 3.3 ha area on the left bank of the river Nemunas in Kaunas.

“SBA Urban” is also developing the Nemunaičiai district on a 2.5-hectare plot located next to H. and O. Minkovskiu street.

The companies applied to the Competition Council for a permit to establish a joint venture. If approved, each of the partners would own 50% of the shares of the newly established company.

“We believe in the perspective of Kaunas, especially the left bank of the river Nemunas. As a financial investor of the project, we have assessed that the organic development of the entire territory will create more value for us and future customers than spontaneous or eclectic development”, T. Barštys junior is quoted in the report.

UAB “TABA Invest” is an investment company, performs real estate management activities, and provides hotel and catering services.
