COBALT advises MyInvest Estonia OÜ on selling Bauhof Group AS

COBALT advised MyInvest Estonia OÜ on selling the hardware store chain Bauhof to Lithuanian hardware store chain Ermitažas, a subsidiary of Vilniaus Prekyba Group. Completion of the transaction is subject to merger clearance by the Estonian Competition Authority.

Bauhof is the leader in the building materials’ and DIY retail market with its 13 stores in Estonia.

Ermitažas belongs to one of the largest business groups in Lithuania, Vilniaus Prekyba. Among its biggest subsidiaries are Maxima Group, pharmacy chain Euroapotheca, chain of construction and finishing materials Ermitažas and commercial real estate development and management company Akropolis.

Our work comprises of advising the client in all aspects of the transaction, including preparations for sale, drafting and negotiating the transaction documents.
