COBALT advises Latvian tech startup Cobook and its founders in acquisition by U.S. company FullContact Inc.

In the first exit of a Latvian technology startup from TechHub Riga, SIA Cobook was recently acquired by American company FullContact Inc.

Founded in 2011, Cobook has created one of the most successful contact-management apps for the Apple platform, dowloaded by millions of users and top-ranked by Apple. The company’s backers included angel investors and HackFWD, a leading German accelerator. FullContact, based in Denver, Colorado, is an alumnus of TechStars in Silicon Valley. Together, the companies offer cutting-edge tools for cross-platform contact management.

A COBALT Latvia team headed by partner Guntars Zile and supported by partner Ingrida Karina-Berzina and senior associates Toms Sulmanis and Sandija Novicka represented SIA Cobook and its founders in all aspects of this transaction, including preparation, negotiation and execution of transaction documents.
