COBALT advises Barclays Bank, J.P. Morgan Securities plc and Goldman Sachs International on issue of 10-year notes by the Republic of Latvia

COBALT advised Barclays Bank, J.P. Morgan Securities plc and Goldman Sachs Internationalas joint lead managers in relation to issuance of EUR 650 million 10-year notes by the Republic of Latvia. The coupon was set at the historically lowest level 0,375% (yield 0,456%).

According to the Treasury of the Republic of Latvia, the issuance was well received from more than 90 investors, which were mainly from Europe (Germany, United Kingdom, Scandinavia and other continental Europe).

Legal assistance to the joint lead managers was provided by the COBALT banking and finance team led by Specialist Counsel Edgars Lodzins.

COBALT experts were also involved in all previous issues of Latvia’s bonds in the international capital markets.
