COBALT advised Valinor on investment into Bondora

Estonian P2Padvised Valinor on investment into Bondora lending service Bondora announced closing an investment round of 4.5 million euros. Borenius participated in the transaction as adviser to US-based investment firm Valinor Management that acted as lead investor and contributed 4 million euros.

Bondora (formerly known as Sõbralaen and isePankur) is a P2P online loan service in which loans are funded directly by investors. It serves as a meeting place for borrowers from Estonia, Finland, Spain and Slovakia, and lenders from all European countries. Bondora plans to use the funds raised and Valinor’s expertise for global expansion. The aim is to become the largest P2P lending platform in Europe.
