COBALT advised UAB Kelprojektas, controlled by BaltCap, on the acquisition of controlling interest in UAB Urbanistika

COBALT advised the transport infrastructure company UAB Kelprojektas, controlled by the investment company BaltCap, on the acquisition of controlling interest in the territory planning company UAB Urbanistika.

It is forecasted that this acquisition will notably raise the turnover of the territory planning company UAB Kelprojektas. The expected growth is EUR 1.2 million or 10 per cent of overall turnover of UAB Kelprojektas in 2013.

The main fields of activity of UAB Urbanistika are integrated territory planning, project management, maintenance and technical architecture consultancy services. The activity of UAB Urbanistika also encompasses architectural solutions for residential and commercial buildings, transport and engineering networks, etc.

UAB Kelprojektas is one of the largest transport infrastructure engineering companies in Lithuania that designs transport communications, public buildings, and engineering networks. Since 1956, the company has implemented over 5,000 transport infrastructure projects.

COBALT work included drafting of transaction documents and provision of other legal advice. The team was led by Partner Elijus Burgis.
