COBALT advised the sale of A-Katsastus Group’s business operations

COBALT advised A-Katsastus and Bridgepoint as a local counsel on the sale of A-Katsastus Group’s business operations in Sweden, Estonia, Latvia and Poland to a Pan-European private equity advisory group IK Investment Partners.

A-Katsastus Group is the leading vehicle inspection company in Northern Europe with 273 stations in Finland, Sweden, Poland, Estonia and Latvia. Its main activities are vehicle inspections, driver’s examinations, vehicle registration and vehicle-related quality and testing services, damage inspections as well as crash repair and maintenance services.

Our work comprised carrying out vendor due diligence, assisting the client with the due diligence process, drafting and negotiating the transaction documents and assisting in connection with the release of securities in Estonia and Latvia. The client was advised by partner Peeter Kutman, senior associate Kristjan Kotkas and associate Madis Reppo from COBALT Estonia and partner Toms Šulmanis and associate Marija Berdova from COBALT Latvia.
