COBALT advised Rubylight on its investment in the buy and sell platform Yaga

Yaga, a platform for buying and selling recycled fashion goods, has secured a solid position in smartphones of numerous Estonians, and has experienced impressive growth in terms of number of users within the past years. Now Yaga has received 2.2 million euros from investors to take a leading role in rapidly developing markets in Africa and Asia. Among others, investors like Startup Wise Guys, Trind Ventures, Rubylight and Specialist VC participated in the financing round.

COBALT advised Latvian technology investment company Rubylight on the investment.

In the last few years, Yaga has expanded its business to both African and Asian markets. In addition to the Republic of South Africa, the platform was also launched in Kenya and India. Yaga has emerged as the largest fashion-focused shopping platform in South Africa.
