COBALT advised Rubylight on investment in Tandem

COBALT advised technology investment fund Rubylight on investment into Berlin-based language startup behind the app Tandem. Tandem recently announced completing ca 5.7 million USD Series A round of financing to capitalize on growth opportunities. Rubylight was among the investors together with Brighteye Ventures, Trind Ventures and GPS Ventures.

Tandem is an app for practising a second language with a focus on native speaker practice. The app connects users with others who are trying to learn their language for mutual practice either via text, phone chat or video call.

Our work comprised advising the client during the entire transaction. The client was advised by Partner Kristel Raidla-Talur and Senior Associate Greete-Kristiine Kuru.
