COBALT advised Practica Capital, a group of venture capital companies, on its EUR 200 000 investment in the fashion design company UAB Robert Kalinkin. The company intends to use the investment for expanding into foreign markets, e-commerce and product development. It plans to offer an expanded range of women’s wearables, accessories and men’s clothing.
Indrė Viltrakytė, Director of UAB Robert Kalinkin, noted that currently an increased interest in Robert Kalinkin collections is felt from the United States and Asian countries. “In October we are going to participate for the third time in the Paris Fashion Week, which will attract a large number of potential customers from all over the world. Half a year ago we started to work with PR agencies in Paris and London, and the results are already starting to show – our products have appeared in the press, we already have plans there for autumn. These two are the cities where we plan and see potential for our activities. Locally we aim to attain a stable position and consider opening a few more Robert Kalinkin brand stores in the future,” commented Indrė Viltrakytė.
It took four years after its establishment for Robert Kalinkin Fashion House to become one of the most famous fashion brands in the Independent Lithuania. Since 2014, Robert Kalinkin has regularly participated in the Paris Fashion Week and represented the Lithuanian fashion industry at international exhibitions.
