COBALT advised Patria OYJ on acquiring a majority of Milrem LCM OÜ

COBALT advised Patria OYJ on acquiring a majority of the largest defence maintenance contractor in Estonia Milrem LCM OÜ.

Patria, partly owned by the State of Finland (50,1%) is a provider of defence, security and aviation life cycle support services and technology solutions. The Group has operations in e.g. Finland, Sweden, Norway, Estonia, Poland, the United Arab Emirates and South Africa.

Milrem LCM OÜ is a defence and security sector company that offers product development solutions and full life cycle support for heavy and armoured vehicles, weapon systems and other military equipment. Since 2014, the company has been providing maintenance and repair works for the Estonian Defence Forces’ vehicles.

Our work comprised advising the client in drafting and negotiating the transaction documents. The client was advised by senior partner Sten Luiga, partner Peeter Kutman and senior associate Triin Ploomipuu.
