COBALT advised Newsec on the acquisition of 100% of shares in BPT Real Estate AS, one of the biggest commercial property service providers in the Baltics.
Newsec is the leading European property house. With the acquisition of BPT Real Estate, they will become the biggest independent real estate management company in the Baltics and will be able to offer clients the highest level of competence and expertise in the entire region. After the transaction, Newsec will have more than 84 commercial real estate properties under management in the Baltic countries with a total area of 880,000 square metres and a team of 74 professionals.
BPT Real Estate group is one of the largest property management companies in the Baltics. The company was acquired by BaltCap in 2015. During the holding period, BPT Real Estate has established itself as one of the leading independent commercial property service providers in the Baltics. BPT Real Estate group is established in 2001 and has offices in Vilnius, Riga and Tallinn. It manages business centers, retail outlets and logistics buildings. Among BPT Real Estate’s largest clients are investment management companies LHV, Capitalica Asset Management, East Capital and others.
