COBALT advised Modular Technologies on raising 15 million euro additional investment

COBALT advised Estonian fintech company Modular Technologies on raising 15 million euro additional investment, which will be used for further development of the platform and marketing purposes. The round was led by Portage Ventures, a global investor dedicated to supporting fintech companies, and also included BlackFin Tech and Tallinn-based Karma Ventures.

TUUM (formerly named Modularbank), founded in 2019 Estonia, is a fintech company that offers a cloud-based banking platform.

Our work comprised advising clients on drafting and negotiating the investment documents and advising on all other matters. The COBALT project team consisted of Specialist Counsel Ott Aava and Associate Kerli Paasoja.
