COBALT advised Marguerite Fund as the shareholder in the reorganisation process of AS Latvijas Gāze for the purpose to implement the provisions of EU Directive 2009/73 and the Energy Law, separating the transmission and distribution services from trading activities of natural gas.
Marguerite Fund has been established with support from six leading European financial institutions (Caisse des Dépôts et Consignations, Cassa Depositi e Prestiti, European Investment Bank, Instituto de Crédito Oficial, KfW and PKO Bank Polski) and the European Commission to make capital investments in infrastructure within 28 Member States of the EU. Marguerite Fund is advised by Marguerite Adviser S.A., an independent advisory company.
