COBALT advised Falck on its acquisition of Altas Assistance

COBALT advised Falck, the world’s largest international rescue company, on its acquisition of the assistance services provider Altas Assistance, UAB. The transaction was officially closed on 27 November 2015.
Altas Assistance provides the call center services, technical assistance to light and heavy vehicles and semi-trailers, medical and housing assistance services.
Altas Assistance has 26 employees. In 2014 company provided their customers with more than 16 000 different types of assistance services and its aggregate turnover amounted to EUR 2.3 million. During 2015 company‘s turnover increased 35 percent and there was a 23 percent increase in the number of assistance services.
Falck’s activities are directed at preventing accidents and disease; providing assistance in situations of emergency, accidents and need; and helping people move on with their lives after illness or accidents. Falck is a Nordic based organisation with business activities in 45 countries on six continents.
COBALT conducted an in-depth legal due diligence, drafted and negotiated share acquisition and other transaction documents with other parties, represented the client in negotiations, advised on structuring of the transaction, provided other legal support to the client on all related matters.
