COBALT advised Ekspress Group on acquiring Geenius Meedia

COBALT advised Ekspress Group on acquiring a 100% stake in an Estonian-based media company Geenius Meedia.

Ekspress Group with its 30-year history is the leading media group in the Baltic states. Geenius Meedia is a technology portal founded in 2015, which has grown into a media company with 13 web portals, podcasts, and printed magazines.

According to the head of Ekspress Group Mari-Liis Rüütsalu, the acquisition of Geenius Meedia will help continue to grow the digital media business, which is an important goal in their strategy.

COBALT advised the client on all issues related to the transaction.
