COBALT advised French real estate fund Corum Origin on acquiring an industrial building that is fully leased to Harmet OÜ for 15 years under a sale and leaseback transaction.
The property built in 2017 as a turnkey project for Harmet’s factory is located approximately 30 km from Tallinn’s city centre. The building’s total surface is 28,164 sqm which makes it the largest production unit built in 2017 in Estonia.
Corum is an independent asset management company, registered in France, which invests in real estate located in Europe. The total assets under management are ca. 2 billion euros as of the end of 2018.
Harmet is specialised in manufacturing modular homes, modular on-site facilities and various metal structures, offering their clients complete solutions from design engineering to final assembly of the buildings.
We provided the client with full legal support relating to the transaction, including conducting the due diligence, preparing and negotiating transaction documents and assisting with the closing of the deal. The COBALT team included partner Aivar Taro and assistant lawyers Helen Sool and Mari Teder.
