COBALT advised technology companies on investing in a new technology fund set up by Taavet Hinrikus and Sten Tamkivi. According to Tamkivi, the bar is high for investors, and not everyone who wants to invest will be able to. The team raised a 250 million euro venture capital fund for early-stage investments.

Plural investment platform brings together the founders of European technology companies and creates opportunities for a larger investment and the provision of the necessary know-how. The platform is looking for and supporting extraordinary founders who may not fit into the regular template or who may be overlooked.

Plural aims to actively contribute to the well-being of companies by focusing on early-stage investment rounds of 1-10 million. Plural is mainly investing in four areas: opportunity gap reduction (expanding access to healthcare and education), mitigating climate change, future governance, and improving health.

COBALT team consisted of Managing Associate Ott Aava, Partner Kristel Raidla-Talur, Specialist Counsel Greete-Kristiine Kuru, and Associates Kerli Paasoja and Johanna Lumiste.
