COBALT advised Braitin on its acquisition of Realco project in Markučiai

COBALT advised the investment company Braitin on ​​the acquisition of the “Prie Vilnelės” project in Markučiai developed by the real estate development company Realco.

The construction of the project “Prie Vilnelės” started in May 2021. It is planned to build 220 apartments in the complex rising on the left bank of the Vilnelė river, with pedestrian and bicycle paths next to it. Residents will be able to enjoy the nearby green spaces as well, as the district falls within the territory of the Pavilniai Regional Park. After acquiring the project, Braitin, together with investors, plans to invest EUR 21 million in its development. The construction of the complex is expected to be completed at the end of 2022.

Braitin is an investment company that invests in real estate objects in Vilnius. Currently, the size of the company’s real estate assets is almost EUR 100 million. Braitin focuses on renewable energy projects related to hydropower, wind, solar, geothermal and biomass energy and invests in the development and subsequent stages of these projects. In addition, Braitin provides alternative debt funding by making it possible to obtain secured loans with real estate as collateral.

Realco is one of the largest real estate development companies in Lithuania, building and developing both residential, public and commercial projects. The company was founded in 2006.
