COBALT advised Alexela on involving the investment of Wärtsilä to Hamina LNG terminal

COBALT advised AS Alexela Varahaldus on the investment by Wärtsilä Corporation to Hamina LNG terminal.

Hamina LNG was established with the intention to operate an LNG import terminal in the Port of Hamina. Hamina LNG Oy is a joint venture of AS Alexela Varahaldus and Hamina Energia Oy. Alexela Varahaldus is an Estonian capital-based company that belongs to the Alexela Group. Alexela is a long-term client of Cobalt.

Wärtsilä is a global leader in smart technologies and complete lifecycle solutions for the marine and energy markets. The company, listed on Nasdaq Helsinki, has operations in over 200 locations in more than 80 countries around the world.
