COBALT advised Aktiva Finants on acquiring Viena sąskaita

COBALT advised Aktiva Finants, an investor operating in Estonia, on acquiring Viena Sąskaita, the first and largest specialized payment platform in Lithuania. ME Investicija is selling this company through its subsidiary AT Investicija.

Aktiva Finants, which operates in Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania, provides various loan-related services. The company’s clients include companies providing finance, telecommunications and utilities services.

ME Investicija acquired 100% shares of the company Viena sąskaita in 2017. UAB ME Investicija is an investment company whose businesses include Girteka Logistics managing the largest own truck fleet in Europe, and a commercial real estate developer SIRIN Development.

The agreement on the acquisition of 100% shares of Viena sąskaita was signed between AT Investicija and Aktiva Finants in May. The transaction is expected to be completed, when the permits of the regulatory authorities in Lithuania will be obtained.
