Bidfood Baltics acquires CESARS, expanding Baltic presence

Bidfood Baltics, a wholesale supplier of food to the HoReCa sector, has acquired a 100% shareholding in CESARS SIA, a leading wholesaler based in Latvia. The transaction further strengthens Bidfood’s position in Latvia and the Baltic States, opening up growth opportunities for both Cesars and Bidfood’s Baltic companies.   

Bidfood Baltics is part of the international Bidcorp group, the leading European foodservice distributor to the Horeca sector.  

CESARS SIA has been operating in the Baltic market for more than 25 years and currently holds a leading position among importers of Eastern cuisine in Latvia. Their selection encompasses an extensive variety of products from traditional Japanese, Chinese, Thai, Indian, and other Asian cuisines.
