Taaniel Sivonen is an Associate at COBALT Estonia who specialises in tax law and has experience in both direct and indirect taxation. His practice encompasses advising clients on complex tax matters and representing them in tax-related court proceedings.
Taaniel’s experience extends to the regulatory sphere, where he assists clients in matters related to gambling and excise licenses. As a moot court enthusiast, he has demonstrated his argumentation skills by reaching the finals of the prestigious European Law Moot Court (ELMC) competition. Since his own participation, he has actively mentored Estonia’s ELMC teams and given lectures at the university level.
