Kristīne Rāviņa

Kristīne specialises in European Union law, state aid and competition law matters. She also assists companies in understanding and identifying the impact, risks, and opportunities associated with sustainability (ESG). She works within the firm’s EU and Competition Law, as well as the Sustainability (ESG) practice groups.
She has significant experience in providing legal advice to clients from various industries such as transport (aviation and rail), energy, media, utilities, finance, natural resources, culture and other industries. She has valuable experience in government relations and public affairs.
Kristīne is also the Mindful Business Charter Ambassador at the firm and serves as a guest lecturer on the EU Law course at the Riga Graduate School of Law. Prior to joining COBALT, she worked in the legal department of the leading regional airline.
During her studies at the College of Europe in Bruges, Belgium Kristīne gained invaluable knowledge of EU law. During her legal studies, she has participated in various international and national moot courts in media law, human rights and EU law.
