Kristīne Rāviņa
About
Kristīne is part of the firm’s EU and Competition law practice groups as well as in the Media Rights practice unit of Litigation and Dispute Resolution practice group. She has extensive knowledge of EU law, State aid and competition law, media law and transport law (especially aviation). Kristīne has significant experience in providing legal advice to clients from various industries such as transport (aviation and rail), energy, media, utilities, finance, natural resources, public catering, culture and other industries. Kristīne has valuable experience in government relations and public affairs.
Kristīne also serves as a guest lecturer on the EU Law course at the Riga Graduate School of Law.
Prior to joining COBALT, Kristīne worked in the legal department of the leading regional airline.
During her studies at the College of Europe in Bruges, Belgium Kristīne gained invaluable knowledge of EU law. During her legal studies, she has participated in various international and national moot courts in media law, human rights and EU law.
