COBALT successfully represents AS Karell Kiirabi in public procurement dispute

COBALT represented AS Karell Kiirabi in connection with a public procurement tender organised by the Health Board to find an ambulance service provider in Ida-Viru county.

Last year, AS Karell Kiirabi won a public procurement tender organised by the Health Board to find an ambulance service provider in Ida-Viru county. SA Ida-Virumaa Kiirabi, which had serviced the region for 12 years, lost to AS Karell Kiirabi, our client, and decided to contest the competition results in court. Our client was successful in the Tallinn Administrative Court, the court of first instance. However, SA Ida-Virumaa Kiirabi appealed to the Tallinn Circuit Court.

Finally, in a judgment dated 30 April, Tallinn Circuit Court dismissed the appeal by SA Ida-Virumaa Kiirabi and refused to revoke the judgment of Tallinn Administrative Court dated 8 November, which dismissed the complaint by SA Ida-Virumaa Kiirabi.
