COBALT offices participate in the implementation of the new EU Directive on sexual exploitation of children and child pornography

COBALT offices along with Allen & Overy and Roschier have participated in the project of the organization Missing Children Europe concerning implementation of the new EU Directive on sexual exploitation of children and child pornography (Directive 2011/93, adopted on 13 December 2011). Currently Directive 2011/93 is in implementation stage and, therefore, the project aims at mapping a selected number of topics covered by the Directive 2011/92 in EU Member States.

The project has resulted into an overview of national legislation of 11 EU Member States related to the implementation of the Directive 2011/93. As a next step organization Missing Children Europe is planning to come up with the recommendations addressed to particular Member States in view of promoting a swift and comprehensive implementation of the Directive 2011/93.
