COBALT invites to the Baltic Business Law Conference

On September 27, 2012 the 6th COBALT Baltic Business Law Conference under the heading Intellectual Property and Innovation in the Baltic Region will be held in Riga. The Baltic Business Law Conference is an annual event that analyses developments in the economies and business sectors in the Nordic/Baltic region. This year the conference is organised in cooperation with the Stockholm School of Economics in Riga.

The conference will address the main question as to how IP can be harnessed to stimulate economic growth in an era of fiscal restraint.

Amongst the speakers of the conference will be Mr. Daniels Pavļuts, Minister of Economy of Latvia, Mr. Roberts Ķīlis, Minister of Education and Science of Latvia, Reinis Bērziņš, Director of Latvian Patent Office, Mikko Manner from Roschier, Ēriks Eglītis from Microsoft Latvia, Anders Paalzow from SSE Riga, Tālis Juhna from Riga Technical University, Jevgeny Kabanov from Zeroturnaround, Alexander Kellberg from GroGlass, Jānis Ošlejs from Primekss, Edvards Lavrinovičs from BLUE Microphones, Toby Moore from Imprimatur Capital, Mārtiņš Jaunarājs from BaltCap, Heidi Kakko from Estonian Development Fund, Andris Bērziņš from Creandum. The panels will be chaired by COBALT partners Ingrida Karina-Berzina, Žilvinas Kvietkus and Ants Nõmper.
