COBALT Estonia office is happy to host American Chamber of Commerce Estonia Executive Forum for 2013: U.S. – EU Free Trade Agreement: What does that mean for Estonia?

On Wednesday, June 12th AmCham Estonia executive members will gather to talk about Free Trade Agreement between the USA and EU and the importance of the Transatlantic Trade and Investment Partnership (TTIP) for future growth and prosperity of the EU and US.  

The Keynote Speaker of the event is Dr. Joseph Quinlan, Managing Director & Chief Market Strategist of Bank of America, New York. Dr. Quinlan is an acclaimed authority on transatlantic economic issues frequently cited in such media venues as Barron’s, The Wall Street Journal, The New York Times and the Financial Times.

The second speaker is Martti Kalaus, Senior Administrator, Secretariat of the Committee on International Trade (INTA), European Parliament. Mr.Kalaus’ practice area focuses mostly on EU's trade relations with US and Canada and on cross-border investment matters. Prior to joining the European Parliament in 2004, Martti worked as attorney-at-law in COBALT Estonia.

The two event speakers will take a closer look at the impact of the agreement and what it would mean for Estonia in particular.

The seminar will be followed by a summer reception. The event is by invitation only.
