Two legal professionals have joined the team of COBALT legal experts to further expand its real estate and tax law expertise. Attorney at law Simona Oliškevičiūtė-Cicėnienė will head the Real Estate and Infrastructure Practice Group, and Rokas Daugėla will join the firm’s Corporate Transactions Practice Group as a tax adviser.

The firm has added two experts to its team: Simona Oliškevičiūtė-Cicėnienė, whose areas of expertise include real estate, energy and infrastructure transactions law, and Rokas Daugėla, an expert in tax law,’ said Dr Irmantas Norkus, Managing Partner at COBALT Lithuania.
Simona Oliškevičiūtė-Cicėnienė has over 12 years of experience advising Lithuanian and international companies, private capital funds and the Government of the Republic of Lithuania in strategic national projects, investment, sale and purchase, joint venture, restructuring and other transactions in the fields of real estate, energy and infrastructure. Attorney at law S. Oliškevičiūtė-Cicėnienė will head COBALT’ Real Estate and Infrastructure Practice Group, which offers legal advice in real estate, design, construction, and public-private partnership (PPP) projects.
Rokas Daugėla is specialised in advising on local and cross-border taxation matters and has over five years of experience advising local and international clients. Rokas Daugėla is recommended as a leading tax practitioner in Lithuania by the international legal directory ‘Tax Directors Handbook’. He holds a Master’s degree in international tax law from Leiden University, the Netherlands. He also gained valuable experience while working at a leading Dutch law firm Loyens & Loeff based in Amsterdam.

The Real Estate and Infrastructure Practice Group will also include legal experts with extensive experience advising in real estate and energy and infrastructure projects: Aušrys Šliavas, Vydmantas Grigoravičius, Marius Rindinas, and Ruslanas Černiauskas.
S. Oliškevičiūtė-Cicėnienė holds a Master of Law degree from Vilnius University. She also completed studies at the College of Law of England and Wales, Paris-X Nanterre University in Paris, and the Baltic Management Institute (BMI). Before joining COBALT, S. Oliškevičiūtė-Cicėnienė practiced at the law firm LAWIN Lideika, Petrauskas, Valiūnas ir partneriai.
