Allied Irish Banks plc Latvia branch has sold its mortgage loans portfolio to Swedbank AS

Allied Irish Banks plc, one of th­e leading commercial banks based in Ireland, has sold its Latvian mortgage loan portfolio to Swedbank AS. The mortgage loan portfolio comprised more than 800 residential mortgage loans. The transaction is one of the first of the kind carried out in Latvia.
