COBALT’s LGBTQ+ rights advocacy featured in Chambers DEI Global Report 2024

COBALT’s pro bono work in Latvia has been recognized in the newly published Chambers DEI Global Report 2024. This comprehensive report examines key themes, case studies, and emerging trends in diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) and pro bono initiatives globally.

A dedicated case study within the report, entitled “Protecting LGBT+ Rights,” features contributions from our pro bono lawyers, Lauris Liepa, Edgars Pastars and Gabriela Šantare. This case study details our team’s active involvement in shaping new legislation designed to ensure the legal framework recognizes and protects the rights of all individuals, irrespective of their sexual orientation or gender identity.
