Latvian Arbo Windows acquires Lithuanian Arlanga Wood

Arbo Windows, a Latvian manufacturer of wooden windows, has acquired one of the largest Lithuanian wooden window manufacturing companies UAB Arlanga Wood, which was previously owned by Arūnas Mažonis, the founder of the Arlanga Group.

The merger will provide an even broader range of high-quality wooden windows and doors to the customers of these companies in the Nordic countries and Western Europe. The transaction was financed by BluOr Bank and secured by Altum, a Latvian development finance institution.

Arlanga Wood will continue to operate under the Arlanga Wood brand, while A. Mažonis will continue to manage Arlanga alu and Arlanga PVC. Arbo Windows intends to maintain its rapid growth while also looking for new strategic acquisition opportunities.
