COBALT advised Rubylight venture fund on investment by a group of investors into a successful Estonian startup Weekdone.
Weekdone is a weekly employee status reporting and feedback tool (dashboard) for facilitating team productivity and aims to become the #1 app for managers for monitoring and managing their teams.
For Weekdone the investment is not the only reason to celebrate. Last week the company participated successfully in Slush – Europe’s largest technology and startup conference held in Finland. Weekdone won the Slush Pitching Competition in front of 1,300 startups, 400 of whom had applied to pitch.
Rubylight is a technology investment fund that helps fast growing internet and mobile startups to scale and expand globally. COBALT has advised Rubylight and its founders on numerous transactions since 2007. Kristel Raidla-Talur has set up and lead international legal teams for investments into odnoklassniki.ru, a Russian social network boasting with more than 100 million registered users, and Ask.fm, a questions and answers service that has attracted tens of millions of users in more than 150 countries worldwide, to name but a few.
