COBALT advised AS Helmes on launching their option program
2018 - 05 - 16
COBALT advised an Estonian software company Helmes on launching an option program that will enable 70 of their employees to become shareholders of the company. Within the framework of the option program, 12 percent of the company’s shares will be distributed among employees on favourable conditions.
Andres Kaljo, Helmes’ partner and CFO, said in a press release that employees are the most important asset of a software company and stock options are an additional means for giving momentum to cooperation between individuals and the company.
Helmes is an international software house headquartered in Tallinn, Estonia. They have clients across all Europe and development centres in Estonia and Belarus.
Our work comprised advising the client in drafting the option program conditions and agreements. The client was advised by partner Egon Talur and senior associate Tõnu Kolts.
