COBALT advised Syneos Health on acquisition of a leading contract research company

COBALT in cooperation with international law firm Cooley LPP advised Syneos Health on acquisition of a leading Latvian full-service contract research company AmberCRO and its subsidiaries in Armenia and Georgia.

AmberCRO is a full-service contract research organization, that was established in 2007. In 2013 they opened their first subsidiary in Tbilisi, Georgi and in 2018 their second subsidiary in Yerevan, Armenia. The company provides management and supervision of clinical trials phase I­ – IV, clinical investigations and observational studies.

Syneos Health is a USA based biopharmaceutical solutions organization purpose-built to accelerate customer success. They bring together approximately 28 000 professionals, across more than 110 countries.

COBALT provided full legal support to the Syneos Health, including the legal due diligence of the target, drafting of transaction documentation and assisting on the closing of the deal, as well as advising its subsidiaries in Armenia and Georgia on corporate governance matters.
